The following information is provided by the Casualty Office of the American Legion Post 123:

It is the sad duty of the Casualty Office to inform you that another  Comrade has fallen: 

Case # 20-66 Gary Lee Knowlton, CWO-4, U.S. Navy Retired, age 66, a resident of Bulacan, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at The Medical City, Clark. Funeral arrangement called for his direct cremation September 6, 2020 at Angeles City Public Cemetery Crematorium, Sapalibutad, Angeles City. Burial is pending approval by ABMC / CFZ,  for Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 10 AM with rendering of Military Honors & the 2-Bell Ceremony followed by an Inurnment Burial at Clark Veterans Cemetery (CVC) at Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City.

Updated the following:

Case # 20-IC-25 Michael John Ansell, 1Lt., U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, Recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart, age 72, a resident of Tacloban City, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his residence in Tacloban City. Upon the completion of the transfer paperwork in Tacloban and transfer to Angeles City, he  will be laid to rest at CVC with rendering of Military Honors & the Marine Corp Eulogy given by the Leathernecks Philippines followed by an Interment Burial. Date to be announced, pending approval by ABMC / CFZ. 

Case # 20-65 Alan Wayne Nicholson, U.S. Army Veteran, age 70,  passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at AUF Medical Center, Angeles City. Funeral arrangements called for direct cremation on September 2, 2020 at LaPieta Crematorium, Angeles City. Pending approval by ABMC / CFZ, he will be laid to rest on Wednesday, September 9. 2020 at 10 AM with rendering of Military Honors followed by an Inurnment Burial at CVC.

BURIALS AT CLARK VETERANS CEMETERY, CLARK FREEPORT  ZONE IN ANGELES CITY PAMPANGA:

Restrictions for Burial have been lifted for Public Burials as of 6 July 2020.  However, the following requirements are required by ABMC and VA for All Interment and Inurnment Burials:

*No more than Twenty-Five Family Members may attend

*All Attendees Must Maintain the Required Social Distancing

*All Attendees Must Wear Face Mask

*All Military Honors will be held at Gate 1 Area of Clark Veterans Cemetery at Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City.

*Parking for the Services will be at Gate 2 Parking Area at  Clark Veterans Cemetery at Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City.
