The U.S. Embassy’s American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit will partner with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to provide in-person services in Angeles City on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
ACS Services:
• Notarial services (more info)
• Acceptance of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) applications
• Acceptance of U.S. passport applications
Important Notes for Passport Applicants:
Many passport renewals can be submitted by mail. Visit here to see if that applies to you. In-person passport services are only required for:
• Applicants under age 18 (both parents must also appear unless additional requirements are met)
• Replacement of lost or stolen passports
• First-time passport applications, or those applying after age 16
• Renewals of passports issued more than 15 years ago
VA Services:
The VA team will be available to assist with benefits, medical services, and more.
Benefits Assistance
• Inquiries about VA benefits and claims
• Help with applications for compensation or pensions
• Information on PACT Act claims
Healthcare Support:
• Preventive immunizations (e.g., flu, pneumonia, shingles)
• Vital signs and health screenings
• Patient education on healthy living
• Assistance with the Foreign Medical Program enrollment, clinic registration, and My HealtheVet
Mental Health Support:
• Suicide prevention resources
• Veteran Crisis Line information
• Support through the Patient Advocate
SSA Services:
• Discussing eligibility and processing claims for Social Security benefits.
• Processing Social Security Number (SSN) applications.
• Resolving issues such as address changes, direct deposit, Medicare enrollment, or non-receipt of benefits.
