Update Regarding Remote Services Event in Iloilo on May 8, 2025
The U.S. Embassy’s American Citizen Services (ACS) unit is sharing additional details about the upcoming remote services event in Iloilo. The event will also include representatives from the Social Security Administration and the Veterans Affairs Administration (VA).
We will provide the following services:
* ACS – accept Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications, U.S. passport applications, and notarial services (fee information below).
Social Security – help with benefits and claims, Social Security Number applications, and post-entitlement issues (including changes of address, reports of death, Medicare enrollments, direct deposit updates, non-receipt of benefits, and others).
* VA Benefits – assist with questions and applications for VA benefits and claims.
* VA Clinic – provide mental and physical health services, including immunizations, health screenings, and suicide prevention resources, as well as help with the Foreign Medical Program, clinic registration, and My HealtheVet enrollment.

Sign-up for services will begin at 7:30 a.m. ACS and SSA services will be available from 8:00am to 11:00am. VA services will be available until 4:00pm.
All services will be offered on a first come, first served basis. We encourage you to arrive early, as demand may be high.
What to Bring:
Originals and photocopies of all required documents. Embassy personnel cannot provide printing, copy, or photography services.
ACS customers should bring proof of online payment OR exact change in Philippine pesos to pay for the service (see list of fees below)
Important Notes for Passport Applicants:
Please review and follow the passport application instructions on our website. Incomplete applications may not be accepted. Applicants must bring a passport photograph that meets our requirements.
Many passport renewals can be submitted by mail without an in-person appointment. Visit our website for details.
In-person passport applications are only required for the following cases:
* Applicants under age 18 (both parents must also appear unless additional requirements are met),
* Replacement of lost or stolen passports,
* First-time passport applications, or the first time a passport-holder renews his or her passport after turning 16, and
* Renewals of passports issued over 15 years ago.
Important Notes for Consular Report of Birth Abroad Applicants:
Applicants should review all information on the U.S. Embassy website. Incomplete applications may not be accepted. If you applied and paid online, please print and bring the confirmation of payment or the summary report from the eCRBA system.
Payment for ACS services will only be accepted in Philippine pesos, and in exact change only.
Service fees are as follows:
* Adult (16 and above) passport application (DS11): PHP 9,900
* Minor (under 16) passport application (DS11): PHP 8,100
* Passport renewal (minor DS11): PHP 8,100
* Passport renewal (adult DS82): PHP 7,800
* Consular Report of Birth Abroad: PHP 6,000
* Notarial services (per notarial act): PHP 3,000
